A Brief Description of Our Gaming System:
Some game systems are great at ship to ship combat, such as the Starfleet Command series, others are good at overall campaign style gaming like Federation Empire, but lack a good battle experience. Rarely does a game combine the best of the those worlds. Our system does just that. It takes the excitement of a good ship to ship combat game using Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates, and adds the greater dimension and feel of true longer term campaign. Ships in our games earn reputations as many see repeated combats with accumulating damage.
Players typically run nations and control fleets, economics, building and repair, negotiation with other nations, etc. A campaign turn typically works like this, 1 week of negotiation between players, turn in orders form to ref, the ref resolves the turn notifying players of contacts and battles. Players have 2 weeks to get battles done using SFC:OP IP ref hosted games. Results are returned to players for next turn.
Each year several campaigns are run, they can last anywhere from several months to a year and half long. For more information email link is near the bottom of the page.
Stand Out Features
